Graphics Collections - 7/19/2026

My site is very heavy on the graphics, so I figured I'd share some of the resources I've used when building it!!

The 88x31 Collection: 5-page collection of 88x31 buttons? Don't mind if I do! I have a few of these things scattered around the site when needed, there's basically a button for everything
Gif City: May God bless whoever is behind Gif City because literally every icon on my site is from here. All my post icons and other decor, even some backgrounds, are from this site. Totally love it, literally the backbone of ANCHORGUTZ as we know it!!
Artwork@Neocities: Such an adorable site with a great collection of different graphics. Big fan of the stickers on here myself,, used a lot of animal-related graphics from here on the littlez page. Also, always some sick music in the background. I've honestly left the page open a few times just listening to the background tracks. Good stuff

These are the big ones, but I'm sure I've gathered graphics from around Tumblr a few times. Older versions of my site used a lot of Texture Town graphics, but I think only one page does nowadays. I dunno.. If anyone has any good graphics sites, I'd love to see them!! I'm kinda running low

SuperBad - 8/4/2025

Here's a site I've known about for a while but forgot to put here.. I actually planned to when I first made this page but didn't get around to it. This is SuperBad!!!

It's a web installation from 1997 by Ben Benjamin, I think I originally found it via the bored button site. There's so much to explore, lots of weird graphics, puzzles, and walls of text to surf through. Super cool if you ask me :3 It's definitely one of the sites that got me into the weirder side of the web, so I appreciate it a lot!!

SuperBad is one of those sites I pull up in class just to get people to ask questions, it's fun like that!!

I hope this site stays up for years to come, it's a wonderful remainder of 90s weird web art culture!!

Old Web Ads - 2/14/2025

Recently discovered these archives of old web ads, hosted both on Nekoweb and The Everyone Site. Very cool to see!!

This kinda ties back to what I mentioned in my last post, dollar store vernacular. I loveeee this kind of stuff!! I used to see a lot of these kinds of ads while websurfing as a little kid. A lot of that kind of stuff was on Neopets, I think it still is tbh

Will likely be using a lot of these for art, advertisements and consumerism are a big thing I like to play around with for art, so this was a cool find!!

Im going on the hunt for "ugly" websites because I want to do a post about individualism on the web. I truly believe that corporate design is killing artists. Anyway that's all I got for now, happy websurfing!

Aesthetics Wikipedia - 2/9/2025

OK ok i love aesthetics sm and I use a lot of this shit in my art so lemme just show u guys whats up.

Frutiger Aero: The aesthetic of my childhood, arguably, given that all the OS that I used were plagued by it. In a positive sense, of course, I love Frutiger Aero because it reminds me of MY version of old internet!!
Dollar Store Vernacular: I actually didn't know this had a name/was considered an aesthetic. I've always been big on old advertisements. I used to watch compilations of ads when I was little, mostly stuff from the 90s and 2000s. Very cool stuff. I do a lot of Crowbar art with this one!
Webcore: Webcore is one of my all time favourites. It's been something i've been into since around 2019. I love web-related stuff, and this aesthetic in particular got me into old internet!!! Thank you webcore for turning me into a nostalgiawhore computer nerd!!!!
Scene: Personally I'm more into the scene-emo blend in terms of dress, but I think my website can be considered scene!! Not much to say about this one, other than the fact that Neocities turned me on to it, but I love scene culture a lot!!!

Alright that's about all I got for this. As I collect more websites they'll go on here too :3
